Villa Beach Cottage – Luxury Villa in Terres Basses, Sint Maarten

Villa Beach Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage in the gated Terres Basses community, a five-minute walk from Baie Longue, the longest beach on the island. It is one of the smallest and most affordable houses in the collection, which makes it a rare thing in a neighborhood built mostly for big groups: a Terres Basses address that works for a couple or a small family.

The cottage keeps it simple and private. A pool sits on the terrace, wrapped by a walled tropical garden that gives you shade and keeps the place to yourself. A covered terrace with a BBQ handles meals outside, and the garden does the rest of the work.

Both bedrooms have king beds and en-suite bathrooms, enough for two couples or a family of four. The kitchen is fully equipped for guests who want to cook, and housekeeping keeps the place in order through the stay.

Baie Longue is the main draw, five minutes on foot, but Mullet Bay and the plane-spotting at Maho are both a short drive, and Grand Case sits north for a night out. For dinner nearby, we send guests to the lolos at the Marigot market, about ten minutes away. One practical note: the cottage does not have its own driveway, but a reserved parking space waits at the estate entrance.
