Villa Greystone is a three-bedroom villa in Terres Basses laid out in the old French Caribbean way, a cluster of bungalows gathered around a large pool rather than one house under a single roof. It suits a small family or a group of friends who like their own space, and it is one of the more affordable ways into this corner of the island.
The design is the character here. The main living room sits in its own air-conditioned bungalow, furnished simply and comfortably, with a full kitchen for cooking through the week. The bedrooms are spread across separate bungalows of their own, so the master and the two other rooms each keep a real sense of privacy.
Every bedroom opens straight onto the pool and terrace, which means most mornings begin with a few steps and a swim. The pool sits at the center of it all, ringed by loungers and shaded corners, framed by a tropical garden that keeps the whole property feeling tucked away.
The house can be taken as two or three bedrooms, so a couple can keep it small and a family can open up the extra room, which is part of why it works for a range of trips.
For a meal out, La Main a la Pate sits on the Marigot marina waterfront about ten minutes away, a French kitchen with the boats and the harbor for a view. Our concierge can book a table and point you to the market stalls a few streets over.
