Villa Ti Riviera is a one-bedroom house sitting directly on the sand at Plum Bay, one of the quietest beaches in Terres Basses. It is built for two, a couple or a solo traveler who wants the water a few steps from the door and nothing else to think about.
The whole place is arranged around the deck and the view. A hot tub sits out on the terrace for a soak under the sun or the stars, and the deck runs wide with lounge seating and a dining corner where morning coffee comes with the sound of the waves. The turquoise water is close enough that the beach is really an extension of the villa.
Inside is small and considered. The kitchen is minimalist, with pale cabinetry, wood accents, and good appliances, and a breakfast bar for the casual meals a couple actually eats. The single bedroom has vaulted ceilings and neutral tones, and its sliding doors open straight onto the outdoor lounge, so the line between inside and out mostly disappears.
There is one more trick to Ti Riviera. Over the Christmas season it can be booked together with the larger Villa Riviera next door, turning the two into a single seven-bedroom beachfront estate for a family gathering. On its own the rest of the year, it stays exactly what it is: a private one-bedroom on the beach.
For dinner, Le Sand sits on the sand at Baie Nettle a short drive away, French cooking with the water at your feet, and our concierge can hold the table and arrange the car.
Low-season weeks start at $2,500 for the one bedroom. It comes down to two and the water: the hot tub on the open deck, the single room facing the sea, and Plum Bay starting where the terrace ends.
