Villa Z'Abricot

Villa Z'Abricot is a six-bedroom house in Mont Vernon, five minutes above Orient Bay, built for a big group: it sleeps up to fourteen and works best for a family reunion or a set of friends who want everyone under one roof. It can be booked as four, five, or six bedrooms depending on the size of the party.

The layout leans into the crowd. The open living area runs out to the terrace and the pool, with a sun deck and a solarium for the ones who came to do nothing but tan. A private gym keeps the routine-keepers happy, a bocce court settles the afternoons, and the barbecue handles the nights the group grills its own catch.

The bedrooms cover a real range. Five are proper doubles with air conditioning and their own views, and the sixth is a dormitory-style room with four beds, which is the detail that makes Z'Abricot work for families: the kids get their own bunk-room and the adults get their quiet. A private chef can be arranged for the evenings no one wants to cook.

Orient Bay is five minutes down the hill, the liveliest beach on the island, with kite surfing, paddleboarding, and a long line of beach clubs on the sand. Grand Case and its restaurants are a short drive north when the group wants a proper night out.

For a meal right on the beach, Bikini Beach sits in the middle of Orient's sand and does long, easy lunches that stretch into the afternoon. Our concierge can hold a table for the group and arrange the cars.

Low-season weeks start at $4,800 for four bedrooms and reach $6,800 for all six. With the whole family in, the house fills its corners: the solarium and the bocce court going, the kids loose in the four-bed room, and Orient Bay five minutes down the hill.
