Arawak is built around its pool. Two of the four bedrooms open straight onto the terrace, so those guests can walk from bed to water in a few steps. The rest of the day happens outside too: a hot tub for the evening, sun loungers through the afternoon, and a BBQ on the terrace, all wrapped in tropical garden that keeps the place private.
Inside, the layout is open and easy, with a full kitchen for guests who want to cook and a recommended private chef for the nights they would rather not. Each of the four bedrooms is air-conditioned with its own bathroom, so mornings stay calm.

We can have the fridge filled before you land and a chef in for the evenings you would rather stay put. At $4,200 a week in low season for all four bedrooms, Arawak is one of the gentler prices inside the Terres Basses gate, a house for a group that plans to spend the trip in the garden and the pool rather than the car.
