Villa Le Chateau des Palmiers is a beachfront estate on the sand at Plum Bay, in the gated Terres Basses community, and one of the largest houses in the collection. It is fully staffed, sleeps up to twenty, and rents as six or ten bedrooms, which makes it a fit for a big celebration or a family that wants a private resort for the week.
The estate is really two houses: a beachside one and a garden-side one. The beachside part holds six bedrooms, a media room, the main living and dining rooms, a ping-pong table, and kayaks for going straight off the beach. The garden side adds four more bedrooms, a chef's kitchen, a private tennis court, a one-hole putting green, and a gym.
The staff is what makes a place this size run: a private chef cooks three meals a day (groceries billed separately), and a concierge team handles activities and the day-to-day so the group does not have to. Rent it as six bedrooms for a smaller party or the full ten when everyone comes.
Plum Bay is the beach out front, one of the quieter stretches in Terres Basses, with the quiet, west-facing sunsets Plum Bay gets. Princess Juliana Airport is about fifteen minutes by car, and Grand Case sits north for a night out, where we send guests to Le Pressoir.
A full-time staff runs the estate; our team arranges the transfers and provisioning around them. Low-season weeks start at $45,000 for the full ten bedrooms. It is less a villa than a private estate: two houses, a tennis court, a putting green, and a beach, with a team to keep it all running.

- Rates are per week in US dollars, plus 10% tax and service. A deposit holds the dates; the balance is due before arrival.

- The French side uses euros and European 220V sockets, so bring an adapter for US plugs. US dollars and cards are widely accepted.
- Terres Basses is residential and gated: for groceries and most restaurants you drive out to Marigot, Simpson Bay or Grand Case, or have a chef come to the villa.
- A rental car is the easiest way to get around; driving is on the right on both sides of the island.
