Villa Agama is a five-bedroom villa set on a hillside in Terres Basses, with an infinity pool that runs toward an open ocean view. It suits a family or a group of friends who want a modern house with the sea always in front of them, and it can be booked as three, four, or five bedrooms depending on the size of the party.
The design leans on glass. Floor-to-ceiling walls pull the ocean into the living rooms and fill them with light, and several points open onto the terrace so the indoors and the pool deck run together. The kitchen is well equipped for a group that cooks, with the counter space and view to make it pleasant, and a private chef can take over for the evenings you would rather be served.
The infinity pool is the center of the day. Its edge lines up with the horizon so the water seems to spill toward the sea, and it is ringed by sunbeds for the long afternoons. An alfresco dining pavilion handles dinners outside, and a shaded lounge gives everyone somewhere to escape the midday sun with a book.
Each of the five bedrooms is a proper suite, with a king bed and an en-suite bath, and several open directly onto the terrace so you can wake up to the water. The house is gated and quiet, the kind of place a group settles into and rarely needs to leave.
For a night out, Le Cottage in Grand Case is a reliable French table in the island's food capital, about twenty-five minutes away, and our concierge can book it and sort the car.
