The pool is the centerpiece, an infinity edge that reads as though it merges with the sea, with a floating jacuzzi set into it, a detail most villas do not have. Around it sit a pool table, a gym, and an office with a 360-degree view for anyone who has to work while the rest of the group does not.
The kitchen is a proper one, finished in bleached wood and black granite, though with the chef on hand it mostly serves the guests who like to potter. Four of the five bedrooms face the ocean, so most of the house wakes up to the water. Each is en-suite.
Beyond the infinity pool, the terrace runs long for sunset cocktails and dinners under the stars, with bikes and water-sports gear on hand for the beach days. Baie Rouge and Plum Bay are both a short drive down.
For a night out, Ocean 82 sits on the water in Grand Case, twenty-five minutes north, and the airport is about fifteen minutes by car. The chef and the property manager are already in place; we just need your dates to stock the kitchen. At $19,000 a week in low season for all five bedrooms, Belle Etoile is the house you book when the terrace has to hold a wedding and the floating jacuzzi has to be in the photos.
