About Villa Belle Fontaine
Villa Belle Fontaine is a five-bedroom French Provence and Creole style villa in Terres Basses, with a double pool, a garden gazebo, and sea views from three of the bedrooms. Rentable from three to five bedrooms.
Villa Belle Fontaine is a five-bedroom house in the gated Terres Basses community, built in a French Provence style with Creole touches, which sets it apart from the glass-and-white-wall villas nearby. Tropical gardens wrap the property, and it rents as three, four, or five bedrooms for families or groups of friends.
The outdoor centerpiece is a double pool in two shades of blue, spread across a large deck and terrace. The smaller of the two pools has a tiled table set into the water, a spot to sit half-submerged with a drink in the afternoon. A garden gazebo gives you shade and seating for lounging or dining, and a built-in BBQ handles meals outside.
The kitchen carries the French country theme, with big arched windows that pull in light and open toward the terrace. The five bedrooms are equal in size: three look out to the sea and two over the gardens. The bathrooms lean spa-like, with walk-in showers, and one has its own private outdoor patio.
The terrace is the place to end the day, with the gardens around you and the sunset over the water. Baie Rouge is a short drive away, Princess Juliana Airport is about fifteen minutes by car, and Grand Case and its restaurants are roughly twenty-five minutes north. For dinner out, we send guests to Tropicana on the Marigot marina, about ten minutes off.
Provisioning, a private chef, or a spa afternoon can be arranged before you get in. At $7,910 a week in low season for all five bedrooms, Belle Fontaine is the pick for a group that would rather have Provencal character and a garden to disappear into than another white-walled glass box.
