About Villa Amandara
Villa Amandara is a five-bedroom modern house in Terres Basses near Baie Longue, with an infinity pool, a Balinese garden gazebo with an outdoor tub, and volleyball and bocce courts. Private chef available in high season.
Villa Amandara is a five-bedroom house in Terres Basses, built from stone, wood, and glass in a clean modern style that sits easily in the tropical setting. Floor-to-ceiling windows run along the open living and dining areas, keeping the Caribbean in the frame from inside. It suits a family or group of ten, and rents as four or five bedrooms.
The garden is where Amandara shows its personality. A Balinese gazebo tucked into the greenery has its own outdoor tub, a private corner apart from the main house. There are volleyball and bocce courts on the grounds, so a lazy afternoon can turn competitive without anyone leaving. The infinity-edge pool runs out toward the horizon off a wide terrace.
The master suite is the standout room: wide ocean views, a bathroom that reads like a small spa, and an outdoor shower off the back. Four bedrooms sit on the main level, and a private apartment on the lower level gives one couple or group their own separate quarters. Every room is en-suite.
For guests who want it, Villa Amandara offers a private chef in high and holiday seasons, cooking three meals a day, with food and drink billed separately. Baie Longue, the longest beach on the island, is a short drive downhill. Grand Case, the island's dining street, is about twenty-five minutes north, and we send guests to Bistrot Caraibes there for a first dinner. Marigot and its markets are roughly ten minutes the other way.
Our concierge handles the chef, the transfers, and a stocked kitchen before you arrive. Low-season weeks start at $16,500 for four bedrooms and $19,500 for all five. Villa Amandara is for a group that wants a modern house with a few real surprises in the garden, and a master bedroom worth claiming early.

Good to know
- Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. Earlier arrivals can sometimes be arranged.
- Rates are per week in US dollars, plus 10% tax and service. A deposit holds the dates; the balance is due before arrival.
- House rules, the security deposit and cancellation terms are set out in the rental agreement for this villa. Parties and events always need the owner's approval in advance.
- The French side uses euros and European 220V sockets, so bring an adapter for US plugs. US dollars and cards are widely accepted.
- Terres Basses is residential and gated: for groceries and most restaurants you drive out to Marigot, Simpson Bay or Grand Case, or have a chef come to the villa.
- A rental car is the easiest way to get around; driving is on the right on both sides of the island.
