Villa Angelsmart – Luxury Villa in Terres Basses, Sint Maarten

Villa Angelsmart sits high on Mont Rouge in the Terres Basses hills, with a panoramic view over Baie Rouge and its beach below. Recently renovated in a clean contemporary style, it is a four-bedroom house that rents from two to four bedrooms, for a family or a group of friends.

The layout splits over two levels. Three bedrooms sit on the upper floor, each en-suite, while the fourth shares the lower level with a fully equipped gym, a useful split that keeps the workout space out of the way of the sleeping.

The kitchen opens onto the living and dining areas, and there are two places to eat: a formal indoor dining room and an outdoor table on the terrace with a BBQ. The outdoor seating looks straight out over the water at Baie Rouge, which is where most evenings end up.

The terrace and pool make the most of the Mont Rouge perch, quiet and private with a big view. Baie Rouge, a wide beach with calm morning water, is a short drive down.

Princess Juliana Airport is about fifteen minutes by car, and Grand Case is roughly twenty-five minutes north. For dinner out, we send guests to La Cigale on Baie Nettle, right on the lagoon about ten minutes away. Ahead of your stay we can arrange a chef and a stocked kitchen for the evenings in. At $4,100 a week in low season for all four bedrooms, Angelsmart trades on the perch: the Mont Rouge view straight down over Baie Rouge, two places to eat, and a gym tucked on the lower level.
