The free-form infinity pool runs toward the sea off a wide sun deck, with a gazebo set to catch the breeze and the view across to Green Cay, Pinel, and Tintamarre. Three of the bedrooms open onto the pool terrace, each with an outdoor shower, and the master adds its own private jacuzzi.
The fourth bedroom is the interesting one: it sits in a separate bungalow a few steps from the main house, with its own terrace and a kitchenette, so a couple or a set of grandparents can have their own quarters without leaving the property.
Inside, the living and dining space is open and bright, opening to the covered dining pavilion by the kitchen. There is a sauna as well. Because the house faces east, the day starts with the sunrise coming up over the bay.
Orient Bay Beach, two miles of sand with beach clubs and calm water, is about a three-minute drive down the hill. For dinner out, we send guests to Bikini Beach, right on the sand. Grand Case is roughly twelve minutes north, and Princess Juliana Airport is around twenty-five minutes by car.
