The interior is open and full of light, with high ceilings and big windows framing the sea. The terrace is where La Dacha shows its character: it is done in a Moroccan style, with mosaic tiles and low sofas, a different look from the glass-box villas around it, and a comfortable place to sit out the afternoon over the ocean.
Three of the five bedrooms are on the main level with direct access to the infinity pool, each en-suite and facing the sea. The master has its own private terrace and a large bathroom. The other two sit on the lower level, reached by stone staircases, with their own outdoor access for guests who want more privacy.
The infinity pool runs to the edge of the terrace and reads as though it joins the horizon, with an outdoor dining area alongside for meals under the stars. With the chef on hand, most dinners happen at home; when you go out, Grand Case is a short drive north and we send guests to La Villa.
Princess Juliana Airport is about fifteen minutes by car, and Baie Rouge and Plum Bay are close. The chef and manager come with the house; we coordinate anything beyond them before you arrive. At $15,000 a week in low season for all five bedrooms, La Dacha runs like a small hotel on the cliff: the Moroccan terrace, the infinity pool, and a chef in the kitchen, so the days come down to the view and not much else.
